without bang

"i am he as you are he as you are me and we are all together"
-john lennon

rather it was almost peaceful
a quiet soothing
an oozing of languid arousal

don't you remember
you were there
all morning breath lethargic
we were fleeting orbits of one another
somewhat cheek rich rouge
somewhat pure negligee light

we were billion billions more than today
after melting the threshold and arriving
inwards dripping away
like a spinning poker card
never a disorientating side

we were never so close
yet room perpetually provided
dictated by physics
defining a lucid hour

don't you remember
it was like first tasting our words
all waterbreathfire
a mere glimpse away from lost discovery
a spiraling particle of long events
we were thieves in a dark quarter eying
a slim crack of inaccessible light
all silence in the shell

we were all eggmen

now
everybody
hit the ground

close the cellar door!
CLOSE THAT CELLAR DOOR!
