I started studying writing and poetry at The Cincinnati School for Creativeand Performing Arts at the age of 12. Now, I am a happily married mother of two girls living in Northwest Ohio who works for a physician's network. My poetry has appeared in about 43 print/web zines, and I've performed atseveral places around Toledo over the last several years. I am a member of the rock/spoken word band Logic Alley (www.logicalley.com), and Director of Minstrel Soup Artist’s Coalition. |
• What do you do for a living?
Three days a week I sit in a private office and yell at insurance companies half the day, read poetry the other half. I get paid for it, but I’m not sure you’d call it “a living”. • Who are your favorite artists?
I don’t have “favorites”. • What influences you to write about/how you do?
The little voices in my head. • Where do you see the underground writing scene in 25 years?
On every street corner, in every bar and coffee cup – pretty much exactly where it is today. • from cait - what are your pets peeve and do you throw up or down - ?meaning whatever this question meant to you the split second you read it..
Cameras. I HATE cameras. No logic, no reason, I just don’t like the things. My pets’ peeve is not being able to chew on the computer wires, but..hey, into every life a little rain must fall. I always throw down...so it can bounce. |
